Yellow Comedy Founder and Director Andrew Carberry announced on the Yellow Comedy Facebook, X and Instagram pages yesterday, Wednesday 25th May 2025 of Yellow Comedy's intentions of returning in Late 2025 / Early 2026. This is dependent on the Yellow Comedy Team finding a suitable venue in South West Herts to run comedy shows at.

About Yellow Comedy
Our Origin Story
Yellow Comedy was formed by Andrew Carberry aka Carbs in May 2015 to provide a platform for the best up and coming stand up comedians from South West Herts and the UK open mic scene and beyond to perform to a warm, friendly and welcoming audience.
Since then we have grown and Andrew has directed and compered over 200 comedy shows in such veritable locations such as Carpenders Park, Chesham, Croxley Green, Harrow, Islington, Little Chalfont, London Bridge, Rickmansworth, St. Albans and Watford.
Yellow Comedy was unfortunately not running Comedy shows after the Worldwide Coronavirus Epidemic in 2020 (With the exception of a test show in October 2021) but will be returning soon to South West Herts at a venue to be decided.
All our shows we run in at the past are aimed at an over 18s audience. Our Promoter and MC Andrew Carberry (pictured) has been performing Stand Up and Sketch Comedy since December 2014 across the UK. Andrew has performed Comedy to over 420 different audiences.
Andrew has also appeared at the Bedford, Camden, Edinburgh and Henley Fringe Festivals as well as the London Improv Festival either on his own or with Sketch Troupe The Bosun's Delight.
Andrew considers Alex Martini, Chris Head, Logan Murray, Mal 'Alfie Noakes' Wharton and Michael Hill as his comedy mentors, and has worked with Chris Head, the late Christopher Serbutt, Jacq Latham, Jenny Wheeler, Jules Garnett, Mike Sheldon, Steve Lee and Vic Rance on his comedy material.
Yellow Comedy's official photographer is the wonderful Diane Richardson. Yellow Comedy's Director of Gentle Persuasion Services is the always warm and bubbly Mad Ron.
Yellow Comedy used to run up to 4 Comedy Competitions a year (although we haven't since 2019) and are contemplating bringing them back if there is enough interest.
- Golden Comedian of the Year - For those aged 50 years old & over.
- King or Queen of Herts - Yellow Comedy Founder and Director Andrew Carberry's choice of performers.
- New Comedian of the Year - 100 comedy performances or under from 1st January 2020 onwards. Also aged 18 or over
- Young Comedian of the Year - For those aged between 18 and 25 years old.
